- P2440: Secondary air injection system switching valve stuck in open position (bank 1) Secondary air injection control valve on the left bank replaced. Trouble code cleared, test-driven to pass self tests, no codes rerunning.
- Caused by ECM having trouble code.
- Reduction of power is a self protection function when the ECM has the trouble code that it had. When the code is cleared, normal power returns.
- AIR CONTROL VALVE – Remove & Replace – V8,4.7L Eng Air Switching Valve,Left Side
